Answer a few questions

Welcome asks what to call you, your organization, and what you want from OpenLens. Then name the brand to track and its website. OpenLens researches the brand and proposes the competitors AI compares it with.

Confirm competitors and pick topics

Keep, remove, or add competitors (up to five). Then name the topics your customers ask AI about, or pick from the suggestions. Each topic becomes five prompts. Click Build my dashboard. See Onboarding for the full walkthrough.

Start a free trial, or skip

Workspaces on the Free plan can try Starter or Agency free for 7 days. Choose Skip for now to go straight to your dashboard; you can start a trial later from Billing.

Watch the first check

The first check starts on its own as soon as your prompts are ready. A typical first project (two or three topics across 3 platforms) takes 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Leave the page if you like. The dashboard updates live as platform responses come back, so visibility, share of voice and the other numbers shift while the check runs.
  • Watch for the email. It arrives with your first results when the check completes.
  • Weekly re-checks are on for the project from the start.

Read the result

When the check completes, the Dashboard fills in:
  • Visibility: percentage of platform responses that mentioned your brand. The headline number.
  • Per-platform breakdown: which AI platforms know you and which don’t.
  • Per-topic performance: where you win, where competitors win.
  • AI sources: the cited domains models pulled from.
Click into any topic for the per-topic deep-dive with the AI-generated recommendation paragraph.

A measurement of how every supported AI platform answers questions in your space, who they mention, who they cite, and where you sit relative to competitors right now, re-checked every week. Everything else in OpenLens is a way to slice, schedule, or share this data.
